Vic Revenko Bio
Vic spent his career at Chevron Corporation in business, technical
and management functions. He lives in Marin County (north of San
Francisco) with wife Maggee. He has two grown children Laura and
Liz. Vic is a native New Yorker who attended NY public grade school,
Stuyvesant High School and graduated with undergraduate and graduate
degrees in science and engineering from Columbia University in New
York City .He joined Chevron after graduation and settled in the
Bay area where he has lived mostly since then. He spent some time
in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Europe on business assignments
and has traveled to many counties on behalf of Chevron and for personal
enrichment. Vic became involved in international education and exchange
many years ago through Chevron’s interest and support. From
this he developed a fond interest in citizen diplomacy, international
education and exchange. To this end he built and managed a worldwide
learning and development consulting organization in Chevron. During
the course of his career he attended the University of California
at Berkeley and got a business degree as well as business executive
courses at Stanford and USC.
Vic found time to (and still does) help the community. He is a
past President and member of the Board of Governors of the Commonwealth
Club of California, past President of the International Diplomacy
Council (IDC), current Chairman of the Association of Internal Management
Consultants, member of Mayor Newsom’s Workforce Investment
Board, and a member of the California Supreme Court committee to
select State Bar Court justices. He says that he is now honored
to Chair the IIE West Coast Center Regional Advisory Board.
Vic also helps on the Board of Ross Valley Players, a local community
theater group presenting plays of value and helping educate the
community in theater arts.
Vic considers what IIE does as vital to US interests as well as
just as good thing to do on principal.
